Ar Raudhah Primary School Hosts Excellence Awards and Year 6 Graduation Ceremony

SANDAKAN: Ar Raudhah Primary School recently held its Excellence Awards Presentation and Year 6 Graduation Ceremony for the 2025 academic session, honouring pupils who demonstrated outstanding achievements in various fields.

The annual event was organised to recognise excellence in academics, character development, tahfiz (Qur’an memorisation) and co-curricular activities, while also celebrating Year 6 pupils who will be advancing to secondary education next year.

The ceremony was officiated by Yang Berusaha Ustaz Saruddin bin Andang, Assistant Education Officer from the Islamic Education Unit, Learning Sector, Sandakan District Education Office, representing the Sandakan District Education Officer, Tuan Datu Roslin bin Datu Siabok.

A number of awards were presented, including the Highest Memorisation Award for Tahfiz Classes, Highest Subject Award (Mumtaz) for Religious Studies, Highest Subject Award for Academic Subjects, Best Curriculum Award and Best Co-curricular Award.

Several tokoh (outstanding pupil) awards were also presented in recognition of leadership and overall contribution. The Leadership Award was jointly awarded to Muhammad Aqmar Azizi bin Saidil and Adam Haris bin Abd Hakim. The Co-curricular Award was received by Syaza Qaisara binti Samsuding, while the Student Affairs Award went to Aisyah Humaira binti Hasriadi. The Curriculum Award was presented to Muhammad Sofwan bin Saruddin.

The event also recognised the achievements of alumni, with 10 candidates from the 2024 SRU cohort receiving the Mumtaz SRU Award for their commendable results. Special awards were further presented to members of the Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG) leadership and supportive parents in appreciation of their continued contributions and commitment.

The school expressed its sincere appreciation to all teachers of SR Ar Raudhah for their dedication and commitment in nurturing the pupils. Under the leadership of Al Fadhil Ustaz Bunyamin Bakri, the school continues to achieve notable successes at district, state and national levels.
