Assemblyman Praises Local Business, Highlights Sabah’s Tourism Future

KOTA KINABALU: Api Api State Assemblyman Loi Kok Liang expressed his support of the opening of VI Vacation Travel & Tour in Karamunsing, highlighting the vital role of tourism in Sabah’s economy.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Loi described his feelings as both honoured and somewhat overwhelmed to be invited as the guest of honour.

“Tourism is one of Sabah’s most important sources of income. It’s not just about business, it’s about showcasing our culture, our people, and the beauty of our land to the world,” he said.

Loi also shared his confidence in the potential of VI Vacation Travel & Tour to become a significant player in Sabah’s tourism sector, bringing more opportunities and vibrancy to the state.

As the representative for Api Api, Loi assured the business owners of his ongoing support. “Whenever you need support, whether it’s related to policies, city improvements, beautification, or any matter that can make doing business easier and better, you can count on me."

"I will do my part to ensure your voices are heard by the right departments,” he pledged.
