Bingkor to Host Largest Health and Welfare Programme

BINGKOR: The largest health and welfare event in Bingkor, Jelajah Sinar Kasih BMBR, will be held on 1 November 2025 at the Kampung Tangkongon Open Hall, starting at 8:00 a.m.

Organised by Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Keningau Youth Division, led by Rafie Datuk Robert, the programme aims to provide direct benefits to local residents through a range of free services and community activities.

Among the highlights are free health screenings, distribution of basic necessities, free nappies, insurance coverage from Allianz, and lucky draw prizes.

The event is open to all Bingkor residents and participation is free of charge.

With the theme “Bingkor Developing with the People,” the initiative seeks to strengthen the relationship between community members and their leaders while addressing local issues.

The event is jointly organised by the Keningau Community Movement Association and the Bingkor Community Welfare Association.

Other activities include a Madani Rahmah Sale, free eye checks, insurance exhibitions, food baskets for senior citizens, children’s colouring contest, and various community engagement programmes.

According to Rafie Datuk Robert, the event reflects the commitment of local leaders to support all segments of the community and to promote inclusive development in Bingkor.

The initiative is supported by Bingkor Assemblyman Datuk Robert Tawik and aims to foster cooperation between leaders and residents in promoting community welfare and progress.
