Celebrate Raya with Gratitude and Harmony

KENINGAU: Former Bingkor State Assemblyman (ADUN), Robert Tawik, has extended Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings to all Muslims, particularly the community in Bingkor and surrounding areas.

He called for the celebration of Syawal to be marked with profound gratitude, simplicity, and a strong spirit of unity among the multi-ethnic society in the state.

According to him, Aidilfitri is not merely an annual festival; rather, it is a pivotal moment to return to one's innate nature by mending relationships, strengthening family ties, and seeking mutual forgiveness.

“Hari Raya is the best time for us to reconnect with one another, cast aside all disputes, and fortify the bonds of brotherhood,” he said in his Hari Raya Aidilfitri message.

Robert stated that the values of togetherness and sincerity demonstrated throughout the Aidilfitri celebrations should be continually upheld, as they form the foundation of societal harmony and well-being.

At the same time, he and his family took the opportunity to seek forgiveness for any shortcomings and mistakes.

“Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin. May this Syawal bring blessings, strengthen our family ties, and solidify our unity,” he said.
