KOTA KINABALU: On Sunday, Api-Api Assemblywoman Datuk Seri Christina Liew visited Kg Penempatan Kinarut to inspect a newly upgraded road.
She observed that the 85-metre earth track has been concreted, a vital improvement aimed at significantly reducing flooding during heavy rains and enhancing the mobility of residents.
This upgrade is a direct response to a heartfelt request from local residents, which was conveyed to Api-Api Community Development Leader (PPM) Theresa Chong Mui Lan during her visit to the neighbourhood last month.
The improvements are expected to bring much-needed relief, ensuring safer and more reliable access for the community, especially during adverse weather conditions.
