COVID-19 DEATHS IN SABAH EXCEED 300

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has recorded a total of 307 deaths related to Covid-19 as of Friday, said Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun.
In a press conference today, he said a total of 131 deaths were reported from the intensive care unit (ICU) wards, 54 from isolation or emergency unit, and the rest were outside of hospitals.
"For the category of 20 years old and below, there were seven deaths, while 46 deaths recorded among individuals aged 21-50, 66 deaths among 51-60 years old, 94 deaths among 61-70 years old, 56 deaths among 71-80 years old, 32 deaths among 81-90 years old, and six deaths of aged 91 and above.
"Most of those who were severely affected by Covid-19 had history of chronic diseases such as heart problems, diabetes, as well as chronic lung and kidney diseases," he said.
