KOTA KINABALU: A delegation from the Persatuan Perunding Malaysia Rumah Keduaku Sabah (PPMRKS), led by its President Jenny Ngu, held a meeting with the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Seri Panglima Christina Liew at the Ministry's office in Wisma Tun Fuad Stephens on Monday.

During the meeting, several issues concerning the Sabah-Malaysia My Second Home (Sabah-MM2H) programme were addressed. PPMRKS proposed revising the agent fee structure and requested continued support from the Ministry for their promotional activities, including roadshows and international marketing efforts.

"We request the Ministry to support our promotional initiatives by subsidising part of our costs, particularly covering exhibition booth fees. This support is crucial for Sabah to stay competitive in attracting quality participants from around the world," Ngu stated.

Liew, who is also the Chairman of the State Sabah-MM2H Programme, assured that the Ministry would review some of the association's requests.

Established on May 16, 2025, PPMRKS represents licensed agents and stakeholders actively promoting Sabah as a preferred 'second' home destination. The meeting was also attended by the Permanent Secretary to KePKAS, Datuk Josie Lai, and Tan Sri David Chu, Chairman of the State Economic Advisory Council.
