KUALA LUMPUR: Enrich, the travel and lifestyle loyalty programme of Malaysia Airlines, will introduce a refreshed programme structure effective from 1 January 2026. This update features changes to how members earn Enrich Points and Elite Points, alongside revised requirements for achieving Elite Status. The aim is to provide more meaningful rewards and greater recognition for members’ continued loyalty. This enhancement reflects Enrich’s ongoing commitment to offering increased value for members’ travel and lifestyle activities with Malaysia Airlines and its partners.

From the start of 2026, members will benefit from higher Enrich Points accrual across all Elite tiers. Platinum members, for example, will earn 2.5 Enrich Points per RM1 spent on Malaysia Airlines and Firefly flights, while Gold and Silver members will earn 2.2 and 1.8 points respectively. This ensures that our most valued travellers receive greater rewards for their loyalty. Additionally, members can now earn significantly more Elite Points when flying with Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, and oneworld partner airlines, particularly in Business Suite and Business Class. This allows for a smoother and more rewarding progression to higher status levels, recognising members’ loyalty with increased value and benefits.

The revised programme also updates the Elite Status requirements. The number of Elite Points needed to attain each tier has been adjusted to better reflect changing travel behaviours and expanded earning opportunities. Members will continue to earn Elite Points through Points + Cash redemptions, seat upgrades, and stays at Enrich Hotels. Moreover, the introduction of AmBank Enrich Visa Credit Cards provides a fast-track option for members to maintain or upgrade their status, further enhancing flexibility and reward opportunities.

In addition, the Silver tier now offers an extra 10kg baggage allowance and priority baggage handling, providing members with enhanced convenience and recognition of their loyalty. These changes are designed to keep the benefits meaningful, exclusive, and closely aligned with members’ travel patterns and engagement with the programme.

Philip See, Chief Executive Officer of Loyalty & Travel Services at Malaysia Aviation Group, commented, “The refreshed structure delivers greater value through enhanced Enrich Points earning, enabling members to earn bigger and faster rewards. The updates to Elite Points accrual with Malaysia Airlines and oneworld airlines, particularly in Business Class and Business Suite, fairly recognise premium travel. Revised Elite Status requirements also reflect evolving travel behaviours and engagement, aligning with members’ journeys and lifestyle aspirations.”

As Malaysia Airlines continues its growth under the Malaysia Aviation Group, Enrich remains a vital pillar of customer loyalty. It connects members to rewarding journeys, exclusive travel benefits, and lifestyle privileges worldwide.
