Digital Revolution Kicks Off in Sandakan

SANDAKAN: The MARA Education Foundation (YPM), together with Sandakan Polytechnic Sabah (PSS), has launched the YPM Digital Entrepreneurship Programme 2025, equipping students and the community with vital skills to thrive in the digital economy. The event took place on Friday, 26 September 2025, at the Main Lecture Hall of Sandakan Polytechnic.

The programme, aimed at nurturing digital entrepreneurship among students and the wider community, was held at the Main Lecture Hall of Sandakan Polytechnic Sabah.

The YPM Digital Entrepreneurship Programme 2025, organised in collaboration with the Sandakan District Education Office, is an initiative by the MARA Education Foundation with Maybank Islamic Berhad as the main sponsor. This joint effort reflects a strong commitment to empowering youth and local entrepreneurs with the essential skills required in the digital economy.

The event also featured speakers from the Companies Commission of Malaysia (Sabah), INSKEN, and Sandakan Polytechnic Sabah. It offered participants valuable exposure and training in entrepreneurship, particularly within the digital context, aligning with current market demands.

The YPM Digital Entrepreneurship Programme 2025 at Sandakan Polytechnic Sabah is part of a wider series of initiatives organised by YPM. It successfully drew participation from various segments of society, including students and entrepreneurs keen to expand their businesses onto digital platforms.
