EWON PAYS LAST RESPECT TO DATUK JOSEPH SITIN SAANG

KOTA KINABALU: Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick paid his last respect to ex-Kuamut State Assemblyman Datuk Joseph Sitin Saang, at the Fook Lu Siew Funeral Home.


Ewon who is also the former Sabah Rural Development Minister and Upko Vice President described the late Joseph as a good leader, very people-centric and had contributed a lot to the political scene in the state especially in his constituency.


"I am very saddened by the passing of Datuk Joseph and I pray for strength and perseverance to the family," he said.


Datuk Joseph's son, Felix Joseph informed that his father had been battling with heart and kidney complications for the past two months.


Also present during to pay their last respect were Upko President Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau, Upko Secretary General Nelson Anggang as well as Upko leaders and Kuamut Assemblyman Datuk Masiung Banah.
