KOTA BELUD: A mother of nine expressed her gratitude to Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick for helping her in the application for a new house under the Hardcore Poor Housing Programme (PPRT) in Kg Melangkap Kapa, here.

The house has completed and Norsiah Saulin and her family have been living in their new house since last January.

"The kids are happy because we now have a house that is more comfortable compared to our previous one," she said.

Meanwhile, Ewon said he was happy to be able to help the family.

"I hope this new house can brighten their life as a family and the children can study more comfortably," he said during an inspection at Norsiah's new house after a work visit in Kampung Melangkap Nerious, today.

He also presented a contribution in the form of grocery items to Norsiah in hope that it can help ease the family's burden.

"I was also taken to walk through the sidewalks that were built of concrete using the allocation that I channelled to the MPKK before this," Ewon added.

Previously, he had also provided allocation for the development of a Prayer Hall at Puncak Doa Kg Melangkap Kapa which was built through a gotong-royong programme.
