KENINGAU: GRS Keningau Youth Chief and Central GRS Youth Secretary, Rafie Robert, continued his 'Ziarah Kasih' programme with three separate visits to assist families affected by misfortune in the district.


He stated the initiative demonstrates concern for community welfare and strengthens ties between leaders and residents, particularly during Ramadan.


"Such programmes are vital as they enable us to reach out directly to those facing trials and hardships," he said.


In his first visit, Rafie called on a family whose home was destroyed by fire three days ago in Kampung Kauran here.


He presented financial aid to ease their burden after losing their dwelling.He hoped the contribution would provide both practical help and encouragement to persevere through their ordeal.


Rafie also visited the family of the late Harizal Hasan Asang at Keningau Hospital to offer condolences and sympathies.


He prayed for the departed soul to be blessed with mercy, while the bereaved family receives strength and fortitude.


Additionally, the Ziarah Kasih programme included a visit to Datuk Jasri Matjakir, PGRS Bingkor Division Chief.


The friendly meeting reinforced party leadership bonds during this blessed Ramadan month.Rafie affirmed efforts to aid the community will intensify, fostering unity and support for those in need.
