RANAU: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Government has never neglected the people, including those in the Kundasang constituency, stressed Deputy Chief Minister II, Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam.
Dr Joachim, who is also Minister of Local Government and Housing, said that all development projects will continue, including the construction of a mini hall in Kampung Tumbalang after the State Election (PRN).
He made these remarks while engaging with more than 150 residents of Kampung Tumbalang during a Leaders with the People session held at the village hall.

During the programme, he also briefed residents on the Program Penyukatan Tanah Anak Negeri Sabah (PANTAS), which is currently being widely implemented throughout the district.
He explained that every PANTAS application must meet certain conditions, including that the land in question has been, or is being, cultivated.
“All applications must also be supported by an action committee and endorsed by the Village Head or the JKKK Chairman,” Dr Joachim, who is also the Kundasang Assemblyman, explained.
Meanwhile, the JKKK Chairman of Kampung Tumbalang, Sapulin Bangsawan, expressed appreciation to Dr Joachim as the State Government’s representative for the facilities provided, including the construction of a suspension bridge and the installation of street lighting.
He also requested that the existing suspension bridge be maintained for the safety and convenience of residents.
At the same event, Dr Joachim, together with the JKKK Chairman, officiated the opening of a farm road and the access road to the village cemetery.
Earlier, Dr Joachim held a PANTAS briefing session with residents of Kampung Lobou Timbua, as well as a preparatory meeting ahead of the State Election with the Induk, Pemuda and Wanita (IPW) divisions of PBS Kundasang at the Kundasang Assemblyman’s office.
Also present were Dr Joachim’s Political Secretary, Yubidi Gumpoyo; District Chief, OKK Dominic Ghanie; Community Development Leader, Dounis Sani; and Village Heads.
