KENINGAU: Concern for those in need continues to be demonstrated as the President of the Sabah Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Youth, Rafie Robert, paid a visit to a family facing life's challenges in Kampung Gasabon here yesterday.
The visit, in collaboration with the Bingkor Development with the People (BMBR) Secretariat on 17 March, was aimed at offering support to the family of Fredline Michael, as well as delivering donations comprising food supplies and cash to ease their burdens, especially in the lead-up to Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Rafie stated that such visits reflect the ongoing commitment of GRS Youth Keningau to foster compassion and a spirit of togetherness within the community.

“In the current Ramadan period, when Muslims are observing fasting and preparing for Aidilfitri, there are still families tested by hardship. It is our responsibility to help within our means,” he said.
He also expressed hope that the assistance provided will help alleviate their difficulties and inspire the family to remain strong in facing life's challenges.
He emphasised that his team will continue to intensify charitable activities and outreach programmes to ensure the wellbeing of the people, particularly in rural areas, is always given attention.
“This initiative aligns with the spirit of Ramadan, which encourages Muslims to increase acts of charity and support those less fortunate,” he added.
