KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu MARA Skills Institute (IKM) has distributed more than 100 boxes of daily basic food pack donations to several families affected by the recent flood incident.
Its Director, Khairil Annuar Sobri said, the food packs were contributed by the institute's staff and alumni.
"The recipients of the aids are those who were severely affected by the recent flood disaster, especially single mothers, the elderly and the disabled (OKU).

"Thank you to all who were involved in the humanitarian efforts implemented by IKM Kota Kinabalu," he said after handing over the donation to Mohd Ariffen Amirul, the coordinator of the I-Care-M (Community Service), today.
Under the I-Care-M programme, they have implemented similar aid handouts such as the contribution of Foot Press to reduce the Covid-19 spread and also the Ramadan Basket Programme last year.

"To reduce the risk of the virus among staff participating in this mission, IKM Kota Kinabalu has taken safety measures including limiting movement, providing disinfectants and practising proper sanitation process."
