Jamawi Engages with the People of Melalap

TENOM: The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry, Datuk Jamawi Jaafar, engaged with residents of the Melalap State Constituency (DUN Melalap) in conjunction with the Christmas celebrations on 25 December.

Accompanied by his wife, Datin Zainatunnisa Ibrahim, he visited several homes, including the residence of the District Chief, OKK Tusib Tulas, along with a number of local community leaders.

Speaking to the media, Jamawi said that the tradition of visiting one another during festive seasons should be continued, as it helps to strengthen the spirit of unity and harmony among the multi-ethnic communities in the state.

Meanwhile, he also invited all residents of DUN Melalap to attend the Melalap Christmas Open House, which will be held on 28 December starting at 11.30am at Dewan Datuk Sanggau Jalang.
