KOTA BELUD: The second phase development of Kadamaian Square, or better known as Tamu Pekan Taginambur, is expected to be completed in early March.
Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick said the second phase development involves the construction of two rest houses with four rooms each, cafeterias, river bank concrete along the coast, and the improving of the hall's facilities.

"An allocation of RM1 million from the previous state government was announced by the then chief minister (Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal) at the Kadamaian Square Hall in January last year, during the Christmas and New Year Open House.
"I hope with the completion of the Kadamaian Square's second phase development will provide benefits and comfort not only to Kadamaian residents but also the people of Kota Belud," he said when contacted by Nabalu News, today.

According to the former Sabah Rural Development Minister, the construction work of two entrepreneurship workshops at the Entrepreneurship Complex Centre in Pekan Taginambur is also running smoothly.
"Even though we started small, the impact is huge for the long term if aspiring entrepreneurs run their business diligently," he asserted.

The previous government channeled an allocation of RM2 million for the two phases development of Tamu Pekan Taginambur.
The first phase involved the construction of Kadamaian Square Hall and provision of various other facilities in the area.
