KADAMAIAN WELFARE CLUB RECEIVES DONATION FROM EWON

KOTA BELUD: Kadamaian Kota Belud Welfare Club received cash donation through the Adun Touchpoint Sentuhan Kasih Programme from Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick.

The donation is hoped to help the club carry out community services for the benefit of the Kadamaian people, Ewon said after presenting the donation to the club’s chairperson Shainim Epin during a courtesy call at the Kadamaian Assembly Office, on Wednesday.

Shainim expressed her gratitude to Ewon for his continuous support towards Kadamaian Welfare Club programmes.

“We will use this contribution to implement various activities that we plan such as the Sentuhan Kasih Programme, Ziarah Programme and gotong-royong activities.

"The target group of this club is single mothers, the elderly, the hardcore poor, people with disabilities (OKU) and bedridden patients," she said.

Shainim said they would also organise a fasting month programme in the Kadamaian area as proposed by Ewon.
