KKIP Power Declares RM3.13 Million Dividend to Parent Company

KOTA KINABALU: K.K.I.P. Power Sdn Bhd (KKIP Power) has declared a dividend of RM3,136,500 to its parent company, K.K.I.P. Sdn Bhd, in a presentation ceremony held today at the KKIP Office in Sepanggar.
The dividend was presented by KKIP Power Chairman Datuk Johnny Goh to KKIP Chairman Datuk Ewon Benedick during a brief ceremony held prior to a KKIP Board of Directors meeting.
Ewon, who is also Sabah’s Deputy Chief Minister III as well as Minister of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport, said the dividend reflects the company’s strong performance and its continued commitment as a KKIP subsidiary in contributing to Sabah’s industrial and economic development.
Also present at the ceremony were KKIP Chief Executive Officer Cecilia Amid, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport Datuk Thomas Logijin, and KKIP Power Chief Executive Officer Datuk Ir. Peter Lajumin.
KKIP Power is the licensed electricity distribution provider for the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) and plays a key role in supporting utility needs and the growth of the industrial sector within the park.
