MINDET to Present Investigation Report on Railbus and Trolley Collision at Pangi

KOTA KINABALU: The Deputy Chief Minister III of Sabah and Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and TRANSPORT (MINDET) , Datuk Ewon Benedick, announced today that he will present the findings of the investigation into the recent railbus collision with a trolley at KM134/4 Pangi, Tenom.

In a statement, Benedick said, “Following the incident involving a railbus and a trolley at KM134/4 Pangi on 3 March 2026, I have requested a report from the Director of the Sabah State Railway Department (JKNS).”

He further added, “An initial investigation report has been provided to me, and this report has also been forwarded to the office of the Chief Minister of Sabah today.”

The Minister confirmed that the investigation results will be presented during the Sabah Cabinet meeting scheduled for 11 March 2026.

JKNS has also issued a statement regarding the incident, he noted.
