Mohd Nazri congratulates Salleh on appointment as Sabah’s Chief Merinyu Project Officer

KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Mohd Nazri Abdullah, Chairman of the Sabah Farmers’ Organisation (PPNS), has extended his congratulations to PPNS Honorary President Datuk Seri Panglima Salleh Said Keruak on his appointment as Chief Inspector Project Officer for Sabah (Ketua Merinyu Projek Sabah).
He said the appointment recognises Salleh’s extensive experience and the leadership credibility he developed as a former Sabah Chief Minister in state administration and development.
Mohd Nazri added that Salleh’s experience in holding various senior posts at both state and federal levels is expected to strengthen oversight and the implementation of development projects in Sabah.
“PPNS records its highest congratulations to Datuk Seri Panglima Salleh Tun Said on his appointment as Chief Inspector Project Officer for Sabah. We are confident his experience and stature will add value to efforts to ensure the implementation of state development projects is more organised, transparent and conducted with integrity,” he said in a statement today.
Earlier, the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, presented Salleh with the letter of appointment at Menara Kinabalu on Tuesday.
In response, Salleh expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged to carry out the responsibility conscientiously, drawing on his experience.
He also affirmed his commitment to ensuring project governance is carried out transparently, with integrity and accountability.
