New Cabinet will Drive Sabah’s Progress: Hajiji

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor is confident that every newly appointed member of the State Cabinet possesses the experience and capability to lead their respective ministries towards greater progress for Sabah.
He said the new Cabinet must also ensure the continued implementation of development programmes outlined under the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Development Roadmap 2.0.
Extending his congratulations to all newly appointed ministers, Hajiji reminded them that their responsibilities are significant and must be carried out with full dedication and integrity.
He stressed that ministers must serve all the people of Sabah regardless of background, while ensuring the trust placed in them is fulfilled to the highest standard.
Hajiji said this during a press conference at Sri Gaya this afternoon, following the swearing-in ceremony of Sabah’s new State Cabinet held at Istana Seri Kinabalu.
His press statement was delivered by Deputy Chief Minister I, Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Joachim Gunsalam.
According to him, the ceremony carries great significance as it reinforces the state government’s commitment to continue serving in the interest of the people and the future of Sabah.
At the same press conference, he also announced the full list of Cabinet members appointed in the new administration.
