Over 800 Join Ramadan Iftar to Boost Visit Malaysia 2026

PENANG: Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Minister Datuk Tiong King Sing praised a vibrant Ramadan Iftar gathering at Homestay Mengkuang Titi here, attended by over 800 guests as part of the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign.

"I greatly appreciate the presence of the local community, USM students, and Northern Region tourism industry partners who together fostered the Ramadan spirit in a warm, harmonious atmosphere," he said.

Tiong highlighted how the event showcased community tourism and local cultural Heritage, key Malaysian strengths on the global stage.
