P-Hailing Riders Urged to Prioritise Safety This Aidilfitri: Shahelmey

PUTATAN: Ahead of Aidilfitri, Putatan MP Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya urged local P-hailing motorcyclists to heighten road safety awareness and avoid unwanted incidents amid festive travel demands.

Speaking at the "Jom Balik Raya" programme with P-hailing riders at the Petronas station on Jalan Mat Salleh, Tanjung Aru, the Sabah Oil and Gas Development Corporation (SOGDC) chairman stressed safety as paramount during earnings pursuits and public Hari Raya preparations.

"Certainly, during this Aidilfitri season, P-hailing riders will handle increased food and goods deliveries for customers.Yes, amid rising customer demand, we in Putatan Parliament urge you to prioritise safety, especially on the roads."

"Maintain efficient service quality, InsyaAllah, and celebrate a joyous Aidilfitri with your families," he said.

Present were SAFODA General Manager Datuk Bahrul Razha Chuprat and Putatan Parliament Senior Special Officer Mohd Sufian Matin.

Shahelmey distributed petrol vouchers to Putatan P-hailing riders and refuelled participants' bikes during the event.
