POIC Sabah Presents RM4.17 Million to State Government

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor today witnessed the symbolic presentation of a RM4.17 million cheque replica from POIC Sabah Sdn Bhd to the State Government at Menara Kinabalu.

The amount comprised a RM2 million contribution to the State Government and a RM2.17 million federal loan repayment for the year 2025.

The cheque replica was presented by POIC Sabah Sdn Bhd’s newly appointed chairman, Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau, to the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Finance, Chee Shok Ting.

Also present were Minister of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport Datuk Ewon Benedick; State Secretary Datuk Seri Panglima Sr Safar Untong; Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport Datuk Thomas Logijin; and POIC Sabah Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Fredian Gan.
