KENINGAU: Razzidin Robert, Deputy Head of the Wiramuda Exco of Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) Sabah, has announced his resignation from the post and his decision to leave the party with immediate effect.
In a statement issued today, Razzidin said the decision was reached after careful and thorough consideration, taking into account the direction he intends to pursue and his personal priorities in continuing to serve the community.
He said the decision was not an easy one, but he believes it is the most appropriate course of action at this juncture to ensure the continuity of his role and contributions to the people.
“I wish to announce my final decision to resign as Deputy Head of the Wiramuda Exco of STAR Sabah and to withdraw from the party with immediate effect,” he said.
Razzidin also expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to the party leadership, fellow colleagues, members and supporters of STAR Sabah for the trust, opportunities and cooperation extended to him throughout his involvement in the party.
He added that the experience gained during his time with the party is deeply valued and will continue to serve as an important foundation in his future political journey and community service.
At the same time, he reaffirmed his commitment to continue serving the people of Sabah, particularly in the Keningau parliamentary constituency, through an approach that is more appropriate and aligned with the principles and values he upholds.
“I will continue to serve the community for a better Sabah,” he said.
Razzidin was previously active in the Wiramuda wing of STAR Sabah and was involved in various community programmes and grassroots youth development initiatives.
