RM100,000 Allocation to Boost Development of Grace Kids Kindergarten in Kudat

KUDAT: An important milestone in strengthening early childhood education under the Early Childhood Education Board (PCS) was achieved through the Groundbreaking Ceremony and Blessing of the Grace Kids Kindergarten site in Batu 2, Kudat, on 27 February.

The Minister for Women, Health and Community Wellbeing of Sabah (KWKKR), Datuk Julita Majungki, was represented by her Political Secretary, Marius Masain, at the event.

During the programme, a RM100,000 allocation from the minister was announced to support the development of the kindergarten.

This allocation is expected to accelerate the construction process and ensure the provision of safe and conducive learning facilities for children under PCS.

In his speech, Marius emphasised that early childhood education plays a vital role in laying the foundation for a child's development.

“Investing at the early education stage is not just about constructing buildings, but about creating a safe and conducive environment so that children can start their learning journey with confidence,” he said.

He added that the allocation reflects ongoing efforts to prioritise access to quality early childhood education opportunities within the community.
