SabahFirst Ideology Highlighted in Community Outreach Event

KOTA KINABALU: The SabahFirst ideology, which emphasises prioritising the welfare, economic empowerment and long-term development of Sabahans, continues to gain visibility through community engagement sessions across the state.
The initiative focuses on ensuring that policies, resources and decision-making processes place Sabahan interests at the forefront while fostering unity and shared responsibility among local communities.
As part of this ongoing effort, a Jelajah Sabah First programme was held on the evening of 16 November 2025 at the residence of Paul Nointien, United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) member.

The event, which ran from 8pm to 10pm, brought together several notable figures including UPKO President Datuk Ewon Benedick, host Paul Nointien, Datuk Marcus Mojigoh Division Chief, Tan Sri Wences Angang, Jason Lee candidate for N23 Petagas, Rosday Wasli candidate for and N24 Tanjung Keramat Dennison R Indang UPKO Candidate for N22 Tanjung Aru.
The gathering served as a platform to introduce and explain the objectives of the SabahFirst initiative to local attendees.
Dennison stated that the session forms part of a wider tour aimed at increasing public awareness and fostering dialogue with communities.
Similar engagements are expected to continue as part of efforts to deepen understanding of the SabahFirst approach.
