KOTA KINABALU: Shangri-La Rasa Ria celebrates a double accolade in regional hospitality, cementing its status as a top draw for international travellers.
The resort has earned Chinese Friendly Hotel certification (2024-2026) from Trip.com and clinched 6th place in the DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Awards 2026 for Best Resorts in Malaysia, the only Sabah entry in the Top 10.As global travel evolves, the Trip.com certification underscores the resort’s dedication to Chinese-speaking guests.
Tailored services include Mandarin-proficient staff, Chinese translations in hotel materials, signature dishes at The Eighth Chinese restaurant, and seamless integration of Alipay and WeChat Pay.The DestinAsian awards, driven by votes from discerning Asia-Pacific travellers, spotlight the resort’s allure: 400 acres of tropical paradise, a 3 km stretch of white sandy beach, and refined luxury in the Garden and Ocean Wings.
