State Government, Broadcasting Department to Collaborate

KOTA KINABALU: The State Government is set to establish a strategic cooperation with the Sabah Malaysia Broadcasting Department this year.
The matter was discussed during a courtesy call by a delegation from the department, led by its Director, Mohd Yusni Mohamed Ali, on Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor at Menara Kinabalu here today.
As part of the proposed cooperation, a special narrative interview featuring the Chief Minister will be produced, outlining the State Government’s direction, policies and key initiatives for Sabah and its people.
Mohd Yusni also briefed Hajiji on several television and radio programmes aimed at promoting Sabah, including Sabah Berselawat, Bintang Sandakan and the Sabah VFM Songs Award, which were broadcast on Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) last year.
Also present at the meeting were Principal Assistant Director (Radio Programming) Artika Matbee, Assistant Director (TV Production) Effa Dian Ali, Assistant Director (News and Current Affairs) Sugiman Rafai, and Assistant Director (Management Services) Sarinah Abdul Hamid.
