This year’s tournament received an encouraging turnout, attracting over 150 participants and guests, including golfers from outside the Sandakan area who travelled specifically to take part in the prestigious event.
In his speech, Nelson highlighted that the tournament not only strengthened bonds within the community but also demonstrated PBS's ongoing commitment to engaging with the people through sports and community-oriented activities.
In addition to the main prizes awarded to tournament winners, the event also featured a lucky draw, with the highlight of the evening being a lucky participant winning a motorcycle – adding to the excitement and uniqueness of this year's championship.
PBS N.56 Tanjung Papat extends its heartfelt appreciation to all sponsors, participants, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the event.
