Travel advisory to Malaysians in Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysians in the Middle East region should be prepared for potential disruptions to flight schedules and are advised to make necessary adjustments to their travel plans.

As a result of the escalating tensions, several countries, including Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq, have closed their airspace.

The Government of Malaysia is closely monitoring the developments in, particularly in light of recent tensions between Iran and Israel.

The safety and well-being of Malaysian citizens in the region are of utmost importance to the government.

In case of an emergency or if Malaysians require assistance while abroad in Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, or Iraq, they are advised to contact the nearest Malaysian embassy or consulate.
