KOTA KINABALU: A toddler here celebrates his two-year-old birthday with appointment as the ambassador for local Food and Beverage outlet.

The boy affectionately known as “Dondon,” has become a familiar face on social media through family-created content that highlights playful moments, dance routines and everyday life.

His parents, Rolands John and Sharleen Petra, said that the appointment is both exciting and meaningful for their family.

“We feel very proud and happy. But more than that, we’re really grateful that our whole family was chosen as a family ambassador. It’s something meaningful and fun that we can experience together," said Rolands, 27, a teacher and content creator based in Kota Kinabalu.

The announcement was made during Chunk & Dunk's exclusive public signing ceremony between its Malaysian and Philippine partners at a shopping mall here.

The family, who have been creating content for about two and a half years, are known for their lighthearted, relatable videos centred on family comedy and daily lifestyle moments.

Their online presence blends dance, humour and candid parenting experiences, often featuring Dondon’s natural reactions.

According to Rolands, their journey with Chunk & Dunk began in 2024, when they started sharing content during the opening of the brand’s first outlet at ITCC.

Since then, their collaborations have grown organically, driven largely by audience response to Dondon.

“We always create Chunk & Dunk content together with Dondon, and his reactions are always amazing.

“Many people are impressed and fall in love with him.”
