UPKO Fields Candidates in 25 Constituencies for Upcoming Sabah Election

PENAMPANG: The United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) has unveiled its full slate of candidates for the upcoming Sabah State Election, confirming its contest in 25 constituencies. While many nominees are new faces in the electoral arena, they are long-serving party members who have consistently upheld UPKO’s values and principles.
The line-up features a mix of experienced leaders and active community figures, all of whom have pledged their commitment to championing the interests of Sabahans under UPKO’s “Sabah First” agenda.
In a notable development, five women have been selected as candidates, reflecting the party’s commitment to gender-balanced leadership. They are Suzie Salapan (Bandau), Rowindy Lawrence Odong (Membakut), Georgina L. George (Karanaan), Norfadzlina Ramsah (Labuk), and Mohina Sidom (Kuamut).
