COVID-19: NEW PATIKANG ULU CLUSTER IN KENINGAU HAS 37 POSITIVE CASES

KOTA KINABALU: The new 'Patikang Ulu' cluster in Keningau reported today has a cumulative total of 37 Covid-19 cases.
The cumulative total includes two new positive cases reported in the cluster today, said Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Masidi Manjun.
"The index case of the cluster was a villager from Kampung Patikang Ulu who tested positive after exhibiting symptoms and undergoing screening on Feb 5.
"The close contact screening identified 36 more positive cases," he said in a statement here today.
Sabah has a cumulative total of 51,332 Covid-19 cases as of Feb 14, including 116 new cases registered today.
A total of 1,045 patients are still under treatment, with 63 in the intensive care unit (ICU) and 21 requiring ventilator support.
