EMCO IN UMS CAMPUSES EXTENDED UNTIL MAY 2

17 April 2021 By Wartawan Nabalu News KOTA KINABALU: Enhanced movement control order (EMCO) in the campuses of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) will be extended from April 19 to May 2. Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun in a statement today said a total of 4,524 Covid-19 test samples have been conducted where 28 came back positive. "It was reported that Covid-19 continues to spread among the residents of the campuses. "To date, there are a total of 1,956 samples that are still awaiting results," he said. Masidi added that the implementation was decided after conducting a joint risk assessment with the MCO Technical Committee and on the advice of the Healthy Ministry.
