Ewon holds Christmas, New Year celebration at Kadamaian Square on Jan 6

KOTA BELUD: Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick will be holding a ‘Majlis Ramah Mesra’ in conjunction with the Christmas and 2023 New Year celebrations at Dewan Kadamaian Square, Taginambur, on January 6.

Ewon who is the Kadamaian Assemblyman welcomed the public, especially the people around Kadamaian, to attend and further enliven the celebration.

Various interesting events have been arranged throughout the celebration including choir performances from several churches, Bamboo Beat Kiau performances and lucky ticket draws.

Organising Chairman Carlye Lajimin said various attractive prizes await lucky visitors for the lucky draw tickets.

"The event will start as early as 8am and is expected to end at 1 pm," he said.

It is expected that more than 3,000 visitors will attend the celebration.

He said that one of the purposes of the celebration was to further strengthen the relationship between communities of multiple races and religions.

"Besides that, the event also gives the community an opportunity to meet and celebrate Christmas and New Year with the leader," he said.
