KOTA BELUD: Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick took the opportunity to inspect one of the newly built houses under the Hardcore Poor Housing Program (PPRT) while he was in Kg. Kiau Nuluh, here, today.

Ewon said the recipient of the house, Dennysius Tandai, 48, was among the families who were assisted to get the PPRT house last year.

"He and his family will move into this house (soon). I am also happy to learn that he continues to grow black pepper which is now part of the family's source of income.

“Hopefully, his children will continue to succeed in their studies and become leaders to help the community when they grow up. I am grateful and happy to be able to help the villagers in need," he said after the visit.

Dennysius and his family will soon move in once the installation of the electricity metre is fully completed.

He thanked Ewon for assisting him and his family in their application for the PPRT house, adding that the house is more comfortable to live in compared to his current home.
