New low-cost carrier MYAirline connects Sabah’s two major cities

KOTA KINABALU: Travelers in Sabah can now enjoy a faster and cheaper way to fly between Tawau and Kota Kinabalu (KK), thanks to MYAirline, a new low-cost carrier that launched its intra-Sabah route.

The airline’s chief executive officer Rayner Teo said the new route, which offers one flight per day in each direction, will reduce travel time to an hour from almost eight hours by road.

He said the route will also boost Sabah’s economy and tourism by providing more options and convenience for travelers.

“We are committed to delivering high-quality service and reliability to our passengers, as well as contributing to the development of Sabah as a destination,” he said in a statement.

To celebrate the launch of the new route, MYAirline is offering special promotional fares between KK and Tawau via its website and app.
