SABAH ALLOWS INTER-ZONE TRAVEL FROM 17 MAY TO 7 JUNE

KOTA KINABALU: Inter-zone travel will be allowed in Sabah from May 17 to June 7, said Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun.
He said inter-district travel is banned for now until May 16 except for emergency and medical purposes, work, Covid-19 vaccination appointment, long-distance couples and essential services.
"During this period, zone divisions according to districts are no longer in use. However Kota Kinabalu, Putatan and Penampang are categorised as one district.
"From May 17 to June 7, district zone divisions will be back in place," he said in a statement.
