Sabah Leaders should Walk the Talk, Not Play the Blame Game

What we’ve been hearing from Warisan all this while is the same old story: “this party is no good,” “that one is controlled by Malaya,” and somehow, only Warisan is clean and perfect. Come on lah, isn’t that the same divide-and-rule game that Malaya used for years? Keep Sabahans fighting among ourselves while they sit back and watch.
GRS actually started with good intentions, to unite all Sabahans and move as one. But along the way, macam ada tangan-tangan ghaib that didn’t like the idea. Slowly, things got messed up. Now suddenly UPKO kena hentam just because it’s part of Pakatan Harapan, a national coalition.
Then remember when Datuk Ewon said he’d resign if the Federal Government challenged Sabah’s 40% rights? Warisan laughed at him. But look now, he actually resigned! Even when a bunch of so-called “Malaya agents” tried to convince him to stay. That’s what we call integrity, walk the talk, bukan cakap kosong.
UPKO’s “Sabah First” motto isn’t just a slogan; they actually mean it. If only more leaders had that kind of guts.
And really, why can’t all the local party presidents just sit down together, knock their heads, and unite to kick out Malaya’s political influence once and for all? We keep shouting “Sabah for Sabahans,” but our own leaders are the ones dividing us.
Oh, and let’s not forget, what Anwar Ibrahim is doing right now is plain wrong. Using the Prime Minister’s Office to campaign for his own party while still being the PM? That’s unethical lah. You can’t wear two hats and call it “serving the people.”
To my fellow rakyat, please, when the time comes to vote, use your conscience. Don’t vote out of emotion, race, or party loyalty. Vote for leaders who genuinely stand for Sabah, not for their own pocket or ambition. Our future depends on the choices we make today.
