KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd (SEC) recently organised a series of “Waste Walk” sessions, during which staff and senior management dedicated time after work to walk around Menara SEC and its surrounding areas — including Tamu KPD and the picturesque Likas Bay, to collect litter and promote environmental cleanliness.

Menara SEC, which has housed SEC’s workforce and its subsidiaries since December 2024, enjoys a prime location overlooking the iconic Likas Bay and the South China Sea.

This distinctive setting has underscored the importance of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, a shared responsibility among all.

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, SEC launched the Waste Walk initiative to lead by example in fostering environmental awareness, while also strengthening camaraderie among employees.

These collective efforts not only contribute to a cleaner and healthier community but also nurture teamwork and instil a sense of pride within the organisation.
