Fire victims get assistance to ease burden

KOTA KINABALU: On July 26, seventeen houses at Kg Laut Kinarut Settlement were severely damaged by a devastating fire, leaving many families displaced and facing significant hardships.

In response to the tragedy, Api-Api Assemblywoman Datuk Seri Christina Liew stepped forward to offer assistance, aiming to ease the burden faced by the affected residents during this difficult time.

Representing Liew, Kinarut Zone Coordinator for Api-Api, Frederick Anak Umbar personally delivered the contribution to some of the fire victims. This act of support underscores the community's commitment to helping those in need and highlights the importance of local leaders in providing aid and comfort to disaster-stricken families.
