KOTA BELUD: Community Development Officer (CDO) Juin Kolod represented Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick in inspecting a dilapidated bridge at Kampung Sukang today.

The inspection aimed to assess and facilitate the repair of the damaged bridge.

The inspection was conducted after complaints were made about the 30-metre bridge at Kampung Sukang, which has not been repaired for over 30 years.

This bridge is a vital route for several children from local families traveling to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Kelawat school.

Approximately 100 users from the village rely on this bridge, which also serves as an alternative route for residents of both Kampung Sukang and Kampung Pahu, according to Saidol Gindol, the chairman of the Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK),of Kampung Pahu.

Pahu is a neighbouring village to Kampung Sukang.
