Ko-Pelajaran Keningau to Hold AGM

TENOM: The Keningau Division of the Sabah Education Services Personnel Cooperative Berhad (Ko-Pelajaran) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 26 July 2025 at Tai Chi Hall, Tenom.

The meeting is expected to involve the participation of 50 cooperative members from across the division and will commence at 8:30am with a registration session.

A key agenda item will be the election of five delegates to represent the four main districts in the Keningau Division, Keningau, Tambunan, Nabawan, and Tenom, at the Central Annual General Meeting.

According to the Secretary of the Keningau Division Cooperative Liaison Committee, Yazid Mohd Hasnan Tawik @ Charles, the meeting will be chaired by Gulam Hussein Mohd Shaffie, who also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Keningau Division Liaison Committee.

This year’s AGM is also expected to be attended by Ko-Pelajaran Board Chairman, Datuk Dr Sairin Karno, along with several other members of the board.

“I urge all members to arrive early to facilitate a smooth registration process and to ensure the meeting begins and proceeds according to schedule,” said Yazid.

The AGM will focus on strategic matters concerning the cooperative, current developments, and efforts to strengthen Ko-Pelajaran's role in supporting the welfare of education personnel in Sabah.
