St. James the Apostle Church opening graced by Assemblyman

KENINGAU: The Official Opening of St. James the Apostle Church at the Catholic Community (KUK) of Ponindukan Agudon was graced by Liawan State Assemblyman, Datuk Annuar Ayub Aman.

The ceremony, officiated by Msgr. Fr. Gilbert Lasius, was also attended by local villagers, church leaders, and members of the community in a spirit of gratitude and unity.

In his remarks, Annuar reaffirmed his ongoing commitment to supporting community development regardless of religion or cultural background. He also praised the spirit of cooperation demonstrated by the community in making the construction of the church a reality.

The blessing of the grotto was also held as a symbol of respect and dedication to the place of worship.
